“I didn’t know you like to decorate?”
It was a silly statement, yet made after years of friendship. If she only looked deeper to see me, the real me, she would have already known that about me. There were plenty of clues.
It convicted me to let go of preconceived notions of who people are or I need them to be. To listen, be aware and ask, “What can you do that I can’t?” And be amazed by that answer.
Our giftedness comes from the glory of God. When we seek to marvel at those gifts, we seek after God.
